6/23/08 - Marshall is officially appointed by the governor to be a member of the Arizona Centennial Commission.
5/28/08 - Marshall is promoted from "Butter Bar" to Captain in less than one year.
10/22/07 - Marshall's latest CD is announced and is now available via this website. Titled - "Marshall Trimble: Old Songs Theyll Never Plow Under".
10/5/07 - Marshall makes the Cover of North Valley Living Magazine. He was offered the centerfold, but declined since he didn't want his body pierced by a couple of staples. And that ain't no... Buffalo.
9/21/07 - Arizona Air National Guard presented Marshall with an honorary commission in the Guard. He now has the rank of 2nd Lieutenant to go along with his enlisted rank in the USMC. He's waited 50 years to become an officer and a gentleman!
7/17/07 - Marshall is presented with a "Lifetime Achievement Award from the Governor's Council of the Arizona Office of Tourism."
7/11/07 - Marshall and Dolan Ellis are featured on the History Channel series, "The States". It is currently airing across the country and features Arizona along with four other states. Check the History Channel listings for the local show times.
6/2/07 - I spoke to the Class of 2007 at Ash Fork High School on Saturday, June 2, 2007. I left Ash Fork High before graduating ack in 1955, so Superintendent Gary Spiker and the grads presented me with an "Honorary High School Diploma." It now hangs proudly on the wall in my office at Scottsdale Community College. Most guys get an honorary doctorate when they give the commencement address but I got an honorary high school diploma. I guess it's sorta fitting because I was never a very good student anyway.
10/11/06 - Arizona Backroads - hosted by Marshall won a Rocky Mountain Emmy for 2006.
